
MANUFACTURE
The
manufacturing process, in the factory, requires four phases:

Maching in

SAWING
The slate is cut
into regular-sized blocks using diamond disc saws. |
SPLITTING
This
is the most important operation in the process. It is done by hand to obtain
plates of slate by splitting, taking advantage of the natural divisions in the
rock. |

CUTTING
With
this operation the final formats of the slate are obtained. |
SELECTION
AND PACKING
Before
packing, the slate is selected and classified. It is then packed on wooden
pallets by hand. Once closed, the pallets are marked with the commercial name,
number of pieces, commercial reference, etc. |
